Spread the content load

Why are we all trying to wear all of the hats, all of the time? It's time to spread the load (it is Christmas after all!). 🎁

In that spirit, this week's Startup Marketing Challenge is very short and sweet:

1. Founders: Take off your content hat. 🎩

2. Ask your co-founder, team, clients and network to post or share your content this week.

That's it!

They can share any of your articles, resources/tools, testimonials or previous posts (with their own thoughts) – something that has helped them in some way.

As the saying goes: You don't ask, you don't get. And you might just find that your network is happy to share your content every now and again!

In return, share something of theirs (perhaps even before you ask).

I'll start with a few:

👏 We Are Charlotte's recent Q&A article series – super useful advice on People & Culture challenges. Our favourite so far is from Katerina Spaseska on building leadership & team alignment.

🏡 myLot Head of Planning Scott Matheson's OpEd on AI in council planning. A genuinely interesting read regardless of your planning knowledge, and a window into AI's potential in this legacy space.

🏏 Climate Zero's Guide to Carbon Accounting for Sporting Facilities. Because rising environmental expectations mean sporting clubs and facilities need to measure and manage their carbon impact. And this practical guide cuts through the complexity to help them get started.

Keep content sharing in mind after the gift-giving season too. Because generosity never goes out of style.
