Startup Marketing Manager

I’ve seen what works, made the mistakes and learned that fundamentals matter more than the noise.

I’ve spent the last decade in marketing – working with brands like Amex, LinkedIn and SafetyCulture, across big and small companies, agency and in-house, with every kind of budget. I’ve launched products, led communities, built partner programs, refreshed brands and driven revenue.

Marketing keeps getting more complicated – more channels, more competition, more buzzwords. But the best marketing? It’s still about category, content and community – done right.

Good marketing helps people see a problem they can’t ignore – and a solution they can’t unsee. It’s not about reaching everyone, but about finding the right people, shifting their perspective and showing them a better way. When they believe in that change, they won’t just adopt it – they’ll tell others. That’s how momentum starts.

But I know firsthand how hard it is to make that happen in a small team. I’ve seen founders spinning their wheels, trying to do it all with limited time, budget and resources – while drowning in conflicting advice about what actually works. Small teams have the advantage of speed and focus, but only if they put their energy into the right things.

That’s why I joined Stella Startups – to be part of a small, ridiculously talented team that helps founders cut through the noise, focus on what matters and do marketing that actually works.

Why I get up in the morning

The little things – laughing with my wife and son, being silly with my dog, connecting with nature, dancing with friends, staring at fires, smiling at strangers and feeling alive.

I’m fascinated by what moves people and passionate about stories that inspire action. When marketing is done right, it doesn’t just sell products – it connects people, shapes culture and spreads ideas that change the world.

Startup superpower

I’ve made the mistakes, learned the hard lessons, and built the playbooks so founders don’t have to waste time and money figuring it out.
